It’s racism: America is discriminating against Americans.
Yes it is true, and it’s happening by law.
Americans are prohibited to travel to Cuba because of U.S. laws.
Only a small ethnic minority of Cuban-Americans with family in Cuba can travel to the island.
American lawmakers are not giving all United States Citizens equal privileges.
This ethnic discrimination is racism.
“Demand your right to travel to Cuba.”
American’s must stand up for their equal rights now.
There is no time to wait.
Act now.
Stop American lawmakers from discriminating against you.
Call, write, YELL to your congressperson and senator.
Demand your local media covers this American racism against America.

Is yelling even going to be enough?
Who is to say, that they will even listen to, when yelled at or threatened with re-election defeat!?
It seems they march to the beat of their own drums, the US Government and it’s backers, the Bilderberg Group & those drums you hear, are the drums of war, as nothing is more profitable for America (When the war is NOT run like a Monkey, otherwise known as Bush)
Not since Kennedy, has there really been a true American President, who really wanted and worked for peace. Read Lincoln’s words, he warned of a time in which the US would face unparalleled anarchy, if bankers and corporations were allowed to control the masses, and that is exactly what we have today.
What the founding fathers of the USA had in mind, is not how US Policy turned out to be, by a long shot – A land in which almost half the population are still not entirely sure that being Gay is REAL and NORMAL, as opposed to perceived and acted out, like the right-wing religious groups have you think. But the US Government protects this form of racism, because Gay’s and Lesbians are somehow, less worthy of love and not good enough to have their rights as a human, first and foremost, respected, by all. That led the other day to yet another beautiful human being, an 11 year old school kid to hang himself, because he was Gay and because he was bullied endlessly and the schools reply, we’ll take care of it!
And take care of it they did! It was so well taken care of, that now that their son is dead, the school is saying that blaming it on the bullies involved in the slurs and abuse, was “unfounded” – This is the SCHOOL BOARD! Does human life mean nothing anymore?
No one cares in the US, if you don’t have insurance and you’re dying of Cancer.
Hell, a week or two ago, on Frontline, we watched how sickening the health care system in the US really is.
One woman had insurance, but when they realized that she was sick, she was dropped, now, she is bankrupt and dying, in her foreclosed home, because the cancer is eating her alive, because the fundamental human right of health care, is not extended to this poor woman and to all Americans, like it is here in Canada and in most, if not all, other G-20 Nations – If Cuba can afford to provide Health Care to all, and they offer far superior drugs, since they are barred from importing, they had to get creative and during their explorations, Cuban Doctors have made advancements which we can only hope for and other’s which have been ongoing in Cuba since the mid 80’s, yet my father is now getting it as a treatment here in Canada, and here it is classed a “Radical Drug” – Meaning it is unknown, too new here – Yet invented in Cuba, old and used commonly in the treatment and cure of Hep-C even…
The poor woman, not even when she had been paying for years, for a benefit she now desperately needed to live, was and remains declined and might die without the roof over her head, that she worked her life for. Her University Student Aged son is already dropped out, because School was no longer affordable. School no longer affordable? What kind of society do we live in?
That’s not the American Dream, that’s the American Nightmare, and it’s been going on for as long and LONGER than, Cuba has had a Revolution in place!
The US Government is deceiving its own people with half truths, or total lies and as Fidel said a few days ago in his Reflections, despite what Obama has done, the Embargo continues to cripple the country, from the simplest and most basic things, like medicines, or medical equipment, that they cannot have, because they are shipped to the States, as well or because they have a component that was made in the States – Actually, it’s anything to do with the States, and it’s stopped dead in it’s tracks, in terms of Cuba!
For what?
Because Washington doesn’t like the Cuban Government, which has outlasted over 10 US Presidents, voted in each time, by people who turn out in higher percentages to vote, than Canada and the US combined, with the exception of the Obama election, or should that be deception?
Election, Deception, Politician = The Same Thing
Let’s call a spade, a spade shall we?
The Embargo is nothing more than a failed policy to assassinate the longest serving head of state in history, who would not play baseball with the American’s, the way they were used to playing it, which included the selfless and horrific exploitation of Cubans and Cuba’s resources; plundering is the right word.
Whilst Cubans had no schooling, nearly the entire population, except the rich were uneducated and no one had any health care. Both, fundamental human rights, yet, since it was Castro who introduced both, he is also called, the greatest infringement to Human Rights. An argument that doesn’t exactly wash with people who know the facts, the real truth. Cuba before Castro, for the VAST MAJORITY, was like what you see in present day Haiti or Jamaica.
Cubans die each day because of this Embargo, the toll this Embargo has taken cannot just be calculated in economic loss, 81 Billion USD and counting for Cuba; but worst of all, in the human toll – The citizens who die, because of a game of politics & US Mentality of “let’s punish the poorest”.
All Obama has done, in reality, is undo what Bush tightened and made worse. He had the chance to stand up to this policy, and meet with Castro as promised and lift this Genocidal Embargo. Instead they undo the damage of the past President, and call that a gesture which should be likened in the Cuban Government, as it’s known, to resign and bow into American demands!
I think NOT!
The fact is, the US Government still engages in double-talk, telling Cuba they are not democratic and that they MUST change, as in, their government, which is freely elected, or else the Embargo stands!
I know a lot of Cubans, on the island, now, not 45 years ago, who LOVE Fidel and find the American demands insulting – They see his true work, for what it is and under the circumstances, he did not too bad! He was never perfect, he’s said so himself on Oliver Stone’s Documentary and no person is perfect. But at least he can recognize regret and realize there is a better way forward, than ways that have proven time and time again, to fail!
This is Genocide people, and we are allowing the US Government to continue punishing those in the world, who have the most to lose!
Like the Cuban Identity and have it reverted back to the hedonistic, prostitute ridden, MAFIA run, dictatorial nation it was before the Revolution.
All Cubans suffered, for much longer than just the Batista Years and the over 20,000 Cubans massacred by him, those that were recorded of course!
Until the US is ready to respect the sovereignty of Cuba and the decisions that the Cubans living their, make, internally within their own nation, not based on what a group in Miami has to say…Cuba should remain steadfast and strong in its resolve to protect what makes it so precious.
Hasta la Victoria Siempre

I find it appalling! I as a “FREE” American unable to travel from “MY” Country, to the country of “MY” choice… Is it not my right? of my “own right” to choose where I travel? I own the right to place my body, being, or person. Where I want when I choose, if I am “FREE” and possess the monetary means to travel? I find no freedom of my “own right” in your law of my land! I am at a loss as to why I cannot travel to Cuba as an American without family in Cuba?

I wouldn’t call it racism but it is excessive governmental intrusion. I want to see a strong, independent Cuba. I don’t want to see it like it was in the 50’s. A strongly socialistic government can work and still be open to tourism especially in a small country like Cuba. Allow Americans to travel on tourist visas, open up trade, and I think Cuba can be a very impressive country. Politically the US should leave well enough alone.
