Please give me a few minutes of your time.

If you’re reading this blog you may know by now, I’m a son, a father, a husband and filmmaker plus much more.  You might have seen one of my films, in particular Cuba’s Love and Suicide, the movie.

Personally, my political affiliations have matured to be determined by character, not the political party.

The two party system in America brings extreme limitations. Perhaps that’s why it could be said many voters are fragmented towards a candidate based on one issue that’s important to them/us/you.

With that said, the one issue I’m focusing on is character, not perfection, not Supreme Being; just a candidates commitment to do the right thing with character.

Barack Obama is the first major U.S politician, running for the presidency who has spoken out against the failed 47 year old U.S. embargo policies towards Cuba.

I personally gave Barack my Cuba movie while he was in Los Angeles. A few months later I met with his staff in Washington, DC and soon after he came out publicly against the embargo.

Please note, I was not the one who influenced Obama’s final direction; I was one of many people like you he listened too, learned from and made his decision based on his character.

Barack Obama had the character to acknowledge when a policy does not work and consider a new direction.

U.S. policy toward Cuba is an issue that truly determines a person character. If a politician is still willing to support the failed embargo on Cuba; they obviously do not have the character to acknowledge the policy has not worked in close to five decades. The pro embargo on Cuba politicians should be voted out every chance we get. They are clearly driven by other motives than character and they perpetuate the political insanity of failed policies toward Cuba.

Please take a moment and read some recent articles on the following topics related to Cuba and this upcoming presidential election.
