Invade Cuba with tourism.

I’m black, I’m Latin, I’m a Cuban exile. I have family in Cuba, NJ, CA and FL. I can assert that the majority of the population in Miami, America and the world do not want a U.S. embargo on Cuba.  My family is one of the families that has been torn apart by 47 years of failed Cuba policies.  Abolishing the U.S. embargo on Cuba will not validate the current Cuban Government; it will demonstrate America’s, maturity and leadership abilities. It’s clear the U.S. policies toward Cuba have not worked.  Let’s simply try a different course.

I personally know Obama includes many perspectives. I personally gave Barack a copy of a film I made in Cuba (Cuba’s Love and Suicide, the movie), while he was in Los Angeles. A few months later, I met with one of his staffers in Washington, DC. This was followed up with Obama speaking out against the current 47 years of political insanity with Cuba. I’m confident my voice was part of his decision making process.

We need to invade Cuba with free people. The more people from America who travel to Cuba and promote, discuss and share their lives; the more the Cuban people will learn new information, and inspiration for their own will to bring freedom to Cuba.

Invade Cuba with tourism.  Thank you Obama for hearing and acting consistent with the voice of the people.  You clearly have the character of our United States President.

    Luis,
I too am committed to the invasion of Cuba, with travelers.
It is an idea whose time has come to give it up and, get on with opening a conversation for workability with our country’s. It is time peace prevailed everywhere and that the leaders of the world had a dialogue and a commitment to cause it. We the people must stand with them and declare this is our intention. These are my comments for now. Kathleen
